Claims Helpers (Castlemain)
Claims Helpers are trained to provide trauma-informed, culturally safe support. They can walk you through the process, help you decide whether to submit a Claim, and assist you in completing and submitting your Claim Form.
Claims Helpers do not decide whether you are eligible or whether your Claim will be approved. They are independent from the Ministry of Children and Family Development and the Province, and their support is always free.

Class Counsel (CFM Lawyers LLP)
If you have questions about the class action or the proposed settlement, Class Counsel represents everyone included in the Birth Alerts BC Class Action. They can explain the Settlement and your options. If you choose to stay in the class action, you do not need to hire your own lawyer to take part in the Claims Process.

Claims Administrator (Verita Global)
The Claims Administrator, Verita Global, is appointed by the Court to review all claims, decide whether Claims meet the requirements, and send payments to people whose Claims are approved. They follow the rules set by the Court and do not work for the Province.
